Job Description

Salary: $24-$27/hour

  • Are you a well-rounded CNC Machinist looking to join a highly technical yet family-oriented company? If so, we are aiding our client, a leader in the Power Generation Industry, in their search for a CNC Machinists on their 1st shift!

  • This will be a 1st shift role with hours Monday-Friday (6am-2:30pm)

If that describes you, we need to talk!

What your future day will look like:

  • Set up/operate Haas CNC MIlls & Lathes
  • Performing set ups/off sets
  • Machine high end precision parts
  • Perform quality checks primarily using micrometers and other hand held measuring tools

Type: Contract to Hire

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

  • Degree/Certification in Machine Tool Technology is highly preferred
  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience
  • Experience with CNC Mills/Lathes
  • Experience editing programs using G codes
  • Manual machining experience will be a huge plus!
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

Chad Hardin has been with Godshall for 11 years.  He and his team focus on engineering/manufacturing recruiting for companies located primarily here in the Upstate.  With over 12 years of recruiting experience, Chad began his recruiting career in the construction industry recruiting skilled trades professionals for commercial/industrial projects throughout the Southeast.  He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and sits on several educational advisory boards with technical schools in our area.  He is a proud father of two boys (Hamilton & Miles) and husband to his wife, Lindsay, who is a teacher with Greenville County Schools.  His hobbies include boating, fishing, and traveling to the beach.
