2nd Shift CNC Lathe Machinist
Job Description
Salary: $24-$26/hour

Are you a well-rounded CNC Machinist looking to join a highly technical yet family-oriented company? If so, we are aiding our client, a leader in the Aerospace Industry, in their search for a CNC Lathe Machinist on their newly created 2nd shift due to tremendous growth!
This will be a 4-10's schedule with hours being Monday-Thursday (5pm-3am)!

What your future day will look like:
- Set up/operate Mazak 2-axis CNC Lathes
- Performing set ups/off sets
- Machine high end precision parts for the Aerospace Market
- Perform quality checks

Type: Direct Hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Degree/Certification in Machine Tool Technology is highly preferred
- 2+ years of CNC Machining experience
- Specific experience with CNC Lathes
- Proficiency in machine set up
- Experience machining exotic metals (Inconel. Titanium, Waspaloy, etc.)
- Ability to read blueprints
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

With over 12 years of recruiting experience, Chad began his recruiting career in the construction industry recruiting skilled trades professionals for commercial/industrial projects throughout the Southeast. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and sits on several educational advisory boards with technical schools in our area. He is a proud father of two boys (Hamilton & Miles) and husband to his wife, Lindsay, who is a teacher with Greenville County Schools. His hobbies include boating, fishing, and traveling to the beach.
