Job Description

Salary: $30 per hour

What your future day will look like:

  • Daily accounts receivable and accounts payable entries and document processing
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Weekly processing of payments (checks, electronic payments)
  • Setting up and maintaining customers and vendors in ERP system
  • General ledger bookkeeping and balance sheet reconciliations, month-end closing and monthly reporting
  • Constant monitoring of accounts receivable and initiate collections with sales department
  • Generate and maintain financial statements and reports
  • Analytical review offinancial data and variances based on established KPls
  • Processing of sales and use tax returns
  • Assist with sales and cash forecasting
  • Assist with annual budget
  • Assist with annual financial audit
  • Perform or assist with other daily, weekly and monthly tasks as necessary
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies as necessary
  • Constant monitoring of accounts receivable and initiate collections with sales department

Type: Direct

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business management with emphasis on accounting
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; knowledge of IFRS preferred
  • Basic knowledge of federal and state income tax
  • Knowledge of sales and use tax and other state taxes
  • Willing and able to coordinate multiple tasks and to exercise judgment relative to the
  • importance and urgency of tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with an ERP systems
  • Knowledge of German language is strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outgoing, easy going, friendly, willingness to help where needed
  • Quick learner relating to the company's core business and technology
  • Must be self-motivated with strong drive to become proficient with multiple tasks
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Positive, can-do attitude

Catherine Culler joined the Godshall recruiting team back in 2000. Graduating from Clemson University with a degree in marketing, she started her career as a District Manager for ADP before moving into pharmaceutical sales. She is heavily involved in the community serving as a member on the Women of St. Francis Foundation, South Carolina Upstate Paralegal Association, and actively involved at her church First Presbyterian. Catherine is a wife and mother to three children, a zealous runner, and a cycle instructor at the Caine Halter YMCA.
