Using your strong experience in QuickBooks Online, advanced Excel skills to manage multiple client accounts with accuracy and professionalism.

What your future day will look like:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Prepare adjusting journal entries and support month-end closing activities
- Communicate with clients regarding financial questions, document requests, and account status
- Support payroll processing and compliance as needed
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for all assigned clients
- Flexibility to work hybrid.
Type:
- Contract to Hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with construction industry clients and/or nonprofit organizations is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in a client-service or multi-entity environment
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QB certification a plus)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting practices
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines

Ginny Beach has been a member of the Godshall team since 1994. She currently oversees all recruiting and staffing operations for Godshall. Prior to working at Godshall, Ginny worked as a recruiter in the Philadelphia area. She has a master's degree from the University of Maryland and a bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston. Like a lot of her colleagues, she is also a Certified Staffing Professional through the American Staffing Associate. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau of the Upstate, and the Business Advocacy Committee of the Chamber of Commerce. She has also served on the Board of Connections, Women Leaders of the Upstate, and has been involved with United Way's Success By 6 campaign. Ginny continues to have a passion for understanding the needs of the companies we serve and matching candidates with a great career. In her spare time, she enjoys running, cycling, and spending time with her husband and two children.
