What your future day will look like:
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Prepare/record all accounts payable and Personal Injury transactions
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Create reports and financial statements
- Maintain subsidiary accounts by posting, verifying, and allocating transactions
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements
- Monitor variances of actual expenses to budgeted expenses
- Enter all credit card transactions and ensure receipts have been received
- Approve various wires and research wire inquiries
- Assist with depositing checks via check scanner
- Assist with processing stop payment requests on checks
- Review online banking to see if checks have a cleared status before stop payment placed
- Prepare various loan, credit card, and other monthly payments
- Transfer funds from operations bank account to other accounts as necessary
- Supervise one other employee
- Partner with Controller and cross train in responsibilities
- Other duties as required
Salary: 55,000

Type: Direct hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Understanding of accounting principles and benchmarks for best practices, including accounting frameworks such as US GAAP
- Ability to develop standards and establish accounts
- Ability to reconcile accounts such as bank accounts and credit card accounts
- Detail oriented for accuracy and completeness
- Capability to meet deadlines with organization
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding and working within a paperless system
- Office 365 utilization Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook
- QuickBooks at least 4 years of experience
- Bookkeeping at least 4 years of experience
- Qualia experience preferred but not required
- Clean personal credit

Catherine Culler joined the Godshall recruiting team back in 2000. Graduating from Clemson University with a degree in marketing, she started her career as a District Manager for ADP before moving into pharmaceutical sales. She is heavily involved in the community serving as a member on the Women of St. Francis Foundation, South Carolina Upstate Paralegal Association, and actively involved at her church First Presbyterian. Catherine is a wife and mother to three children, a zealous runner, and a cycle instructor at the Caine Halter YMCA.
