Accounting Specialist

What your future day will look like:
- Process vendor invoices and reconciling credit card statements
- Set up new project baseline, budgets and client invoices
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with project managers and client accounting personnel to facilitate the collection of B2B invoices.
- Send emails to facilitate receipt of payments.
- Researches and resolves client disputes and discrepancies.
- Escalates issues to Controller in a timely manner.
- Processes purchase orders from requisitions to issuing purchase orders to vendors, and reconciles received equipment with invoiced equipment
- Facilitates the employee expense report approval process

To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Associate Degree in Accounting preferred
- 2+ years of related experience in AR, Billing and/or AP
- Ability to pass background, personal credit check and drug test

A Greenville native, Cathy graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Management. Following college, she began her career with Babies "R" Us, where she held roles as an HR Assistant and later as an Assistant Inventory Control Manager. These positions helped her discover a passion for supporting others and contributing to their success, a passion that continues to drive her career today. Her primary recruiting focus includes banking, accounting, human resources, legal and administrative placements. For more than 26 years, Cathy has proudly been part of the Godshall team. Outside the office, Cathy enjoys spending time with her husband and their two teenage sons, as well as their beloved pets: Beans, a blind Chiweenie, and Millie, a cuddly lap cat. In her free time, you'll often find her binge-watching the latest Netflix series or documentary, cheering on the Atlanta Braves and Riverside High School baseball, enjoying a girls' night out, sweating it out at Orange Theory, attending Clemson Football games or indulging in the guilty pleasure of a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
