What your future day will look like:
- Support all billing activity for active projects by tracking schedules, timing requirements, and contract?specific billing needs.
- Coordinate with project managers to prepare billing packages, including schedules of values, retainage details, stored materials, and AIA?format documentation.
- Submit billing through customer portals or designated channels, ensuring all required documents (pay apps, lien waivers, notary requirements, etc.) are included and correct.
- Update billing preferences, addresses, and communication notes in internal systems and follow up with customers when needed.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer contacts responsible for payment, including regular follow?ups and documentation.
- Maintain organized billing documentation and accessible records so team members can quickly support any issues, questions, or escalations.
- Assist with AR?related inquiries and collections support on an as?needed basis.

To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- General accounting knowledge with the ability to support billing and AR tasks.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 3+ years of relevant experience strongly valued.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including the ability to learn pivot tables, lookups, and related functions.
- Experience with accounting software.
