What your future day will look like:
- Conduct procurement activities and materials/production planning for a manufacturing environment.
- Monitor/forecast raw material needs to ensure efficient production operations
- Work cross-functionally with other departments along with participating in R&D projects and product life cycle
- Source new suppliers, issue RFPs/RFQs, and negotiate vendor pricing/terms
- Identify cost-saving opportunities by working with suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance, KPI's and perform value analysis
- Maintain accurate procurement records, data and other related information
- Monitor market trends including materials pricing and new technology within industry circles

To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or other related field is highly preferred
- 3+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment including materials and production planning.
- Prior experience working closely with suppliers (domestic/international) negotiating contracts including delivery times.
- Strong foundational knowledge of ERP/MRP Systems
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
