Construction Manager

What your future day will look like:
- Manage construction activities and quality control along with annual maintenance contracts
- Oversee a small team of direct reports including engineering inspectors
- Ensure all construction projects and processes conform with specifications and policies/procedures
- Work closely with state & federal agencies/departements to ensure project compliance
- Conduct additional activities for capital projects including overseeing vendors, inspections, tracking project data and reviewing submittal information (construction drawings)
- This position will report to the Engineering Director

Type: Direct Hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Associates in Construction Technology or other related field is required
- 8+ years of construction management experience with exposure to wastewater and/or civil engineering
- Wastewater Operators License will be a plus!
- Knowledge of GIS & AutoCAD is preferred
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

Chad Hardin has been with Godshall for 11 years. He and his team focus on engineering/manufacturing recruiting for companies located primarily here in the Upstate. With over 12 years of recruiting experience, Chad began his recruiting career in the construction industry recruiting skilled trades professionals for commercial/industrial projects throughout the Southeast. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and sits on several educational advisory boards with technical schools in our area. He is a proud father of two boys (Hamilton & Miles) and husband to his wife, Lindsay, who is a teacher with Greenville County Schools. His hobbies include boating, fishing, and traveling to the beach.
