What your future day will look like:
  • Prepare short- and mid-term forecasts by customer and product, leveraging sales data, customer input, and internal assumptions to drive reliable planning.
  • Review variances between forecasts, orders, and actual demand to identify root causes, highlight risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve forecasting and reporting dashboards using Excel and Power BI to increase visibility and decision-making accuracy.
  • Process customer orders, pricing updates, credits, and rebates with a high level of accuracy while maintaining up-to-date records in CRM and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Track customer service metrics and demand trends to proactively support allocation, supply planning, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to align demand assumptions and customer expectations, serving as a key customer contact and escalating or tracking unresolved issues as needed.

To be a champion in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, demand planning, forecasting, or analytical roles.
  • Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
  • Experience preparing forecasts or demand plans is strongly preferred.
  • Power BI or similar reporting tool experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate data-driven insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • SAP and CRM experience preferred but not required.

Ginny Beach has been a member of the Godshall team since 1994. She currently oversees all recruiting and staffing operations for Godshall. Prior to working at Godshall, Ginny worked as a recruiter in the Philadelphia area. She has a master's degree from the University of Maryland and a bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston. Like a lot of her colleagues, she is also a Certified Staffing Professional through the American Staffing Associate. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau of the Upstate, and the Business Advocacy Committee of the Chamber of Commerce. She has also served on the Board of Connections, Women Leaders of the Upstate, and has been involved with United Way's Success By 6 campaign.  Ginny continues to have a passion for understanding the needs of the companies we serve and matching candidates with a great career.
