Building Maintenance Technician

What your future day will look like:
- Conduct scheduled maintenance on building systems such as HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and equipment
- Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Handle basic repairs including electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks
- Maintain the property’s curb appeal through tasks like pressure washing and debris removal
- Respond quickly to service requests and log all work in the maintenance tracking system
- Assist with installing new systems or equipment as needed
- Help manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies
- Communicate effectively with tenants and staff while working throughout the building
- Be available for emergency calls and participate in safety planning

Type: Direct Hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing are a plus)
- 2+ years of experience in building maintenance or construction
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building upkeep
- Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and equipment manuals
- Basic computer literacy and attention to detail in record keeping
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Must have professional appearance and presentation skills
