Machine Design Project Manager

Job Description
Salary: $90,000 to $120,000

- Are you an experienced Project Manager with production equipment/design engineering experience seeking to advance your career? If so, a well known global company is looking to add a Project Manager to their to their talented equipment engineering team to manage capital equipment projects!

What your future day will look like:
- Manage capital equipment projects including design, cost estimation and managing timelines/deadlines
- Lead teams of engineers and technicians to complete design/build activites of production equipment
- Projects will be small to medium in nature ranging from $100K-$5M
- Participate in design reviews/technical reviews and prepare reports
- Utilize SolidWorks/AutoCAD to produce designs
- Work with production and other departments to modify/improve existing production equipment

Type: Direct Hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline is required-BSME or BSEE is preferred
- 5+ years of experience managing equipment engineering projects
- Production equipment design experience is required
- Strong proficiency in 3D design with SolidWorks/AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Power Point)

With over 12 years of recruiting experience, Chad began his recruiting career in the construction industry recruiting skilled trades professionals for commercial/industrial projects throughout the Southeast. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and sits on several educational advisory boards with technical schools in our area. He is a proud father of two boys (Hamilton & Miles) and husband to his wife, Lindsay, who is a teacher with Greenville County Schools. His hobbies include boating, fishing, and traveling to the beach.
