What your future day will look like:
  • Process weekly payroll with precision—validating timecards, pay codes, schedules, PTO, earnings, and deductions—while responding promptly to payroll-related questions and ensuring accurate attendance records.
  • Perform detailed billing reconciliations for payroll, benefits, and staffing agencies by identifying discrepancies, coordinating corrections, and maintaining thorough supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records within the HRIS, ensuring personnel files are complete, up to date, and audit-ready.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle by posting positions, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, facilitating onboarding and offboarding, and assisting with benefits enrollment, life event changes, and open enrollment activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by managing I-9 verifications, E-Verify processing, OSHA recordkeeping, FMLA and leave tracking, HR reporting, and maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Partner with HR and Production leadership to strengthen safety programs, support policy development, assist with training initiatives and HR projects, and provide responsive, day-to-day support to employees and supervisors.

To be a champion in this role, you will need:
  • Associate’s degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP) are helpful but not required.
  • 1–5 years of experience in HR, payroll, or billing reconciliation; manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of payroll processes, invoice reconciliation, vendor billing, and basic accounting practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems.

Ginny Beach has been a member of the Godshall team since 1994. She currently oversees all recruiting and staffing operations for Godshall. Prior to working at Godshall, Ginny worked as a recruiter in the Philadelphia area. She has a master's degree from the University of Maryland and a bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston. Like a lot of her colleagues, she is also a Certified Staffing Professional through the American Staffing Associate. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau of the Upstate, and the Business Advocacy Committee of the Chamber of Commerce.
