IT Systems Administrator

- Very hands on IT environment, managing infrastructure, managing software implementations, while supporting inside desktop stations and outside mobile devices.
- Perfect role for someone who is comfortable being the sole IT person for a company with multiple systems and about 30 end users.

What your future day will look like:
- Oversee and maintain daily IT operations—including computers, networks, cloud platforms, and communication systems—while ensuring systems are secure, updated, and running efficiently.
- Manage user access, email systems, and device configurations, while performing routine updates, backups, and maintenance to keep all technology functioning smoothly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues, providing responsive helpdesk support to both office and field staff.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation, while training employees on systems, cybersecurity best practices, and user processes.
- Drive ongoing improvement by building an IT roadmap, supporting technology governance, and identifying opportunities to digitize workflows and enhance operations through smart technology adoption.

Type: Direct
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, preferred.
- 2-5 years of progressively responsible IT support experience
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA: A+, Security+, Network+; CISM, CISSP), preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cybersecurity principles and risk mitigation
- Preferred System Knowledge: ESRI GIS (mapping system), Tyler Technologies (ERP – billing and financials), Wonderware (SCADA), Sensus/Xylem AMI metering software and technologies, InfraMAP (workorders), Microsoft 365, Microsoft Windows server
