Immigration Paralegal

What your future day will look like:
- Prepare employment-based immigration petitions and visa applications, including H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM, and related filings.
- Manage case files, monitor deadlines, and track immigration matters from initiation through completion.
- Communicate regularly with clients, beneficiaries, attorneys, and government agencies regarding case status and requirements.
- Gather, review, and analyze supporting documentation to ensure complete and accurate submissions.
- Draft immigration correspondence, support letters, and other case-related documents for attorney review.
- Utilize immigration case management systems to maintain organized records and support efficient workflow management.
- This is an in-office role, but the position can be in Columbia SC, Bluffton SC, Atlanta GA, or Greenville SC

Type: Direct Hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of business immigration experience handling employment-based visas and PERM cases
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent writing, proofreading, research, and document preparation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; immigration case management software experience preferred
- Professional, service-oriented approach with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Graduating from Clemson University with a degree in marketing, she started her career as a District Manager for ADP before moving into pharmaceutical sales. She is heavily involved in the community serving as a member on the Women of St. Francis Foundation, South Carolina Upstate Paralegal Association, and actively involved at her church First Presbyterian. Catherine is a wife and mother to three children, a zealous runner, and a cycle instructor at the Caine Halter YMCA.
