In-house Associate Attorney

What your future day will look like:
- Prepare legal summaries and deliverables, including estate planning overviews, operating and shareholder agreement summaries, and other structured client materials.
- Lead the legal workflow from start to finish—organizing case files, coordinating documentation, updating the CRM, and ensuring tasks are captured and completed.
- Communicate with clients to gather information, schedule meetings, send materials, and respond to documentation requests.
- Attend client and internal meetings to take notes, track action items, and prepare follow-up communication for advisor review.
- Coordinate across internal departments and outside partners to ensure all legal components are aligned, accurate, and delivered on time.
- Support one-off legal research needs, contract reviews, and project-based requests tied to client service initiatives

Type: Direct Hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Juris Doctor (JD) required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2+ years of hands on legal experience in family law, operational agreements, or estate planning

Cathy is a Greenville native who graduated from Clemson with a BS in Business Management. After working for 3 years for Babies R Us in both human resources and inventory control management roles, she joined Godshall in 1999 as a Recruiter and Staffing Specialist. Her primary recruiting focus is in banking, accounting, human resources, legal and administrative placements. She is involved in St. Francis Forum, NALS, Covenant United Methodist Church and Northwood Little League. This breast cancer survivor lives life the fullest by cheering on her two boys in baseball, watching her alma mater play every Saturday during the fall, and splurging on an occasional bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
