Salary:
$23.50–$25.00/hour

$2.00/hour shift premium for 2nd shift
$3.00/hour shift premium for 3rd shift

There are openings on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift!

What your future day will look like:

Set up and operate CNC machines (mostly grinders)
Perform program edits at the machine as needed
Machine carbide steel components used in drill bits and cutting tools
Hold very tight tolerances and ensure parts meet strict quality standards
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
Follow all ITAR, quality, and safety requirements
Work collaboratively with team members across all shifts

Type: Contract to Hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:

A.S. in Machine Tool Technology will be a huge plus!
Experience operating CNC machines (grinders, mills & lathes)
Strong setup experience, including making program edits at the machine
Experience working in tight tolerances
Experience working with carbide steel or similar hard materials
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
Ability to work in an ITAR/Defense-regulated manufacturing environment
