Salary: $26-28/hour

What your future day will look like:
  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Program CNC machines using G?code and M?code, including writing, editing, and optimizing code for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T symbols, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
  • Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds for various materials and machining operations.
  • Perform machine setups including zeroing, tool offsets, work offsets, and fixture alignment.
  • Conduct first?article inspections and in?process quality checks using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues, adjust programs, and refine processes to improve part quality and reduce cycle time.
  • Maintain tight tolerances and ensure all parts meet quality and dimensional standards.
  • Monitor machine performance, identify wear or maintenance needs, and coordinate repairs or adjustments.

Type: Temp to Hire

To be a champion in this role, you will need:
  • 3+ years in a CNC machinist role          
  • Ability to run two machines at a time
  • Experience with G&M-code
