Operations Safety Manager
Job Description
Salary: $85-95K

What your future day will look like:
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety standards
- Communication with direct reports and upper management/stakeholders
- Develop and evaluate safety policies
- Risk management and implementing mitigation strategies
- Conduct safety meetings and audits
- Keep safety documentation accurate and up to date
- Develop emergency response plans
- Accident/near-miss investgation, root cause analysis and corrective action planning

Type: Direct Hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- ASP Certification required, CSP preferred
- Ability to travel up to 60%
- 2+ years as a safety professional
- Knowledge of industry's safety regulations

Louisa graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Chemical Engineering and she started her career in energy optimization at Georgia Pacific. She then made the switch over to HR when she moved to the upstate area. She joined Godshall in 2021 and is now combining both passions as a member of our technical recruiting team. Louisa is a wife and mother to an adorable little boy, an active member of her book club and loves to travel all over the world.
