Job Description
Salary: $140-$150k plus case commission

• Communicate with clients and guide them through the legal process with professionalism and empathy
•Evaluate liability and damages; review records, evidence, and treatment progression
•Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and motions (with support as needed)
• Participate in and handle depositions (conducting and defending)
•Prepare for and assist in mediations, hearings, and trial preparation with attorney leadership

Type: Direct Hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Juris Doctor degree and active bar licensure in South Carolina; North Carolina licensure considered an advantage
- 5+ years of legal practice experience. Litigation expsoure preferred and personal injury or insuranc defense experience a plus!
- Demonstrated experience overseeing personal injury cases through both pre-litigation and litigation phases.
- Proficiency with legal drafting, discovery management, motions practice, and case preparation workflows.
- Ability to utilize legal technology and AI-enabled tools to increase output and case efficiency.

Cathy is a Greenville native who graduated from Clemson with a BS in Business Management. After working for 3 years for Babies R Us in both human resources and inventory control management roles, she joined Godshall in 1999 as a Recruiter and Staffing Specialist. Her primary recruiting focus is in banking, accounting, human resources, legal and administrative placements. She is involved in St. Francis Forum, NALS, Covenant United Methodist Church and Northwood Little League. This breast cancer survivor lives life the fullest by cheering on her two boys in baseball, watching her alma mater play every Saturday during the fall, and splurging on an occasional bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
