Portfolio Manager with CFA

What your future day will look like:
- Lead investment research and help shape portfolio direction, with a strong emphasis on growth and technology sectors.
- Analyze earnings releases, filings, and research sources to identify new opportunities and evaluate current holdings.
- Monitor model portfolios, execute approved changes, and track performance against strategic objectives.
- Present trends, recommendations, and sector insights to the investment team and leadership.
- Participate in client meetings as the investment subject-matter expert and help educate advisors with tools and research.
- Contribute to ongoing investment materials including committee reports, newsletters, collateral, and 401(k) model reviews.

Type: Direct Hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- (CFA) Chartered Financial Analyst designation required.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of experience in investment management, portfolio construction, or market strategy.
- MBA and Series 65 are a big plus!

A Greenville native, Cathy graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Management. Following college, she began her career with Babies "R" Us, where she held roles as an HR Assistant and later as an Assistant Inventory Control Manager. These positions helped her discover a passion for supporting others and contributing to their success, a passion that continues to drive her career today. Her primary recruiting focus includes banking, accounting, human resources, legal and administrative placements. For more than 26 years, Cathy has proudly been part of the Godshall team. She is grateful to work for an organization that genuinely cares about its employees, candidates, clients, and the community it serves. Outside the office, Cathy enjoys spending time with her husband and their two teenage sons, as well as their beloved pets: Beans, a blind Chiweenie, and Millie, a cuddly lap cat. In her free time, you'll often find her binge-watching the latest Netflix series or documentary, cheering on the Atlanta Braves and Riverside High School baseball, enjoying a girls' night out, sweating it out at Orange Theory, attending Clemson Football games or indulging in the guilty pleasure of a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
