Property Accountant

What your future day will look like:
- Use Yardi to manage property financials, tenant accounts, and required internal reporting.
- Record and update activity across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger postings.
- Process daily transactions such as receipts, invoices, payments, and reimbursement documentation.
- Assist with monthly and annual reconciliation tasks for bank accounts, receivables, loan statements, and letters of credit.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, including variance tracking throughout the year.
- Prepare yearly reporting requirements, including 1099 issuance, vendor tax verification, and operating expense reconciliations tied to lease terms.

Type: Direct Hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with Yardi property management/accounting software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Background performing bookkeeping duties, including transaction entry and account reconciliation
- Familiarity with vendor tax documentation processes (W?9, 1099) and experience preparing reports to support audits and tax filings
- Clean personal credit

Graduating from Clemson University with a degree in marketing, she started her career as a District Manager for ADP before moving into pharmaceutical sales. She is heavily involved in the community serving as a member on the Women of St. Francis Foundation, South Carolina Upstate Paralegal Association, and actively involved at her church First Presbyterian. Catherine is a wife and mother to three children, a zealous runner, and a cycle instructor at the Caine Halter YMCA.
