What your future day will look like:
- Manage a portfolio of client accounting relationships, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery.
- Review monthly accounting work, financial data, and reporting while maintaining quality standards across multiple client accounts.
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and nonprofit tax returns while providing proactive tax planning guidance.
- Lead client discussions, participate in discovery meetings, and identify opportunities to improve processes and financial outcomes.
- Mentor and coach accounting team members through performance feedback, technical support, and professional development.
- Evaluate client profitability, technology utilization, and service delivery to drive efficiency and strengthen long-term relationships.

To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- • Active Enrolled Agent (EA) designation required; CPA designation is a plus
- • Minimum of 3 years of accounting and tax experience with the ability to work independently
- • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, multi-state taxation, and a variety of entity types, including nonprofit organizations
- • Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Dext, and related technologies preferred
- • Proven leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

Graduating from Clemson University with a degree in marketing, she started her career as a District Manager for ADP before moving into pharmaceutical sales. She is heavily involved in the community serving as a member on the Women of St. Francis Foundation, South Carolina Upstate Paralegal Association, and actively involved at her church First Presbyterian. Catherine is a wife and mother to three children, a zealous runner, and a cycle instructor at the Caine Halter YMCA.
