What your future day will look like:
- Inspect and test incoming raw materials, first piece and finished products according to Quality Process Control Plans
- Work with staff in determining and resolving quality issues
- Perform failure/non-conformance investigations and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain metrology tools including outsourcing metrology calibrations as needed
- Program/operate CMM using PC-DMIS software
- Set up/operate various measuring tools and testing equipment
- Document/record vital quality related information
- Participate in internal/external quality audits

To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Degree in a technically related field is preferred or related work experience
- 7+ years of quality experience in a machining/fabrication environment
- Experience reading/interpreting sophisticated engineering drawings
- Experience with PC-DMIS & SolidWorks
- Understanding of tight tolerances and knowledge of GD&T
- Ability to use various measuring tools including micrometers & gauges including mechanical micrometers within +/-0.0001”
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Familiarity with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 standards

Chad Hardin has been with Godshall for 11 years. He and his team focus on engineering/manufacturing recruiting for companies located primarily here in the Upstate. With over 12 years of recruiting experience, Chad began his recruiting career in the construction industry recruiting skilled trades professionals for commercial/industrial projects throughout the Southeast. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and sits on several educational advisory boards with technical schools in our area. He is a proud father of two boys (Hamilton & Miles) and husband to his wife, Lindsay, who is a teacher with Greenville County Schools. His hobbies include boating, fishing, and traveling to the beach.
