What your future day will look like:
  • Design, develop, and configure Guidewire applications using GOSU across UI, Product Model, Rating, and Underwriting Rules for end-to-end functional delivery.
  • Build and optimize SOAP/REST integrations with third-party trucking insurance services (FMCSA, telematics, VIN lookup) to enable seamless data exchange.
  • Implement and maintain Guidewire messaging, batch jobs, plug-ins, and APIs to support reliable communication across internal and external systems.
  • Author and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including design documents, development workbooks, unit test cases, and defect resolution reports.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate cross-functionally with business analysts, QA, architects, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical and business objectives.
  • Package and deliver deployment-ready code with clear release documentation, supporting UAT, production rollouts, and environment validation.
  • Provide post-deployment support and performance tuning, ensuring system stability, scalability, and continuous improvement across Guidewire applications.

Type: Direct

To be a champion in this role, you will need:
  • 5+ years of hands-on Guidewire development experience.
  • Proven experience in commercial auto/trucking insurance domain – filings, coverages, fleet risk, DOT/FMCSA compliance.
  • Proficiency in GOSU, Java, and Guidewire Studio across multiple modules.
  • Strong experience building integrations and configuring rating models.
  • Agile delivery experience; proficient with JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Postman, etc.

Preferred skills:
  • Experience with Guidewire Cloud upgrades or deployments
  • Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with digital portals, document generation, or claims workflow tools
  • Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and cyber-risk in insurance applications
