Sr. Controls Engineer (Rochester, N.H.)

Job Description

Salary: $100,000 to $130,000

What your future day will look like:
  • Work closely with a talented engineering team to design custom automation production machinery
  • Specifically provide programming for PLC's (primarily Allen Bradley) as well as layouts/programming for HMI's
  • Will be responsible for full cycle machine design including programming, testing, debugging/troubleshooting and commissioning
  • Create electrical designs, schematics and panel layouts
  • Assist in writing technical manuals and providing technical support to internal staff and company clients
  • Light travel (around 15%) to client sites will be required when commissioning/implementing equipment

To be a champion in this role, you will need:
  • Associates or Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
  • 5+ years of controls engineering/industrial automation experience specific to full cycle machine design (design, programming, testing, debugging and commissioning) 
  • Proven track of PLC/HMI programming including robotics and other automation systems.
  • Specific knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC programming
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
