Salary: $25-30hr plus OT pay

What your future day will look like:

  • Ensure timely, high quality client accounting service that meets or exceeds client and firm expectations.
  • Participate in new client and prospect discovery meetings.
  • Prepare 15 30 monthly accounting client projects including, daily, weekly, bi weekly, and monthly accounting and payroll.
  • Maintain chart of accounts, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and sales tax returns.
  • Prepare annual forms and 1099s.
  • Create well written work documents such as letters, correspondence, and memos in a clear, concise, and well
  • documented manner, including referencing.
  • Monitor usage of client accounting technologies and encourage client participation through keeping the Adviser informed and routine client check in calls.
  • Ensure clean integration of client accounting technologies such as QuickBooks Online, ReceiptBank, Bill.com and Tallie.
  • Process receipts in Dext & Tallie, and bills in Bill.com.
  • Manage bank feeds in QuickBooks Online.
  • Record and code client transactions.
  • Communicate with Client Service Team about emerging client accounting needs.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements.
  • Consult with client as needed.
  • Most work is performed in an office setting. Some travel and networking will be required.
  • Average weekly commitment of 40 to 45 hours.
  • Ability to work and other times

Type: Direct Hire

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

  • Associates level degree in Accounting, Finance with 3 years of experience. BS in Accounting strongly preferred.
  • Must have worked in public accounting.
  • Thorough understanding of financial statements, payroll, and sales tax
  • Results driven with emphasis on quality and service that consistently meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities and excellent attention to detail.
  • Thorough knowledge of general accounting principles and theory.
  • Thorough knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office products and QuickBooks Online.

Her primary recruiting focus is in banking, accounting, human resources, legal and administrative placements.  She is involved in St. Francis Forum, NALS, Covenant United Methodist Church and Northwood Little League. This breast cancer survivor lives life the fullest by cheering on her two boys in baseball, watching her alma mater play every Saturday during the fall, and splurging on an occasional bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
