What your future day will look like:

Lead fabrication, welding, and manufacturing operations within a highly customized Engineered-to-Order environment
Manage and develop a team of approximately 45 production employees
Drive performance in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and profitability metrics
Coordinate production schedules, staffing plans, and resources to meet customer demand and delivery commitments
Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Quality teams to optimize manufacturing processes and workflow
Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Utilize data-driven problem-solving techniques to identify root causes and implement sustainable improvements
Support new product introductions, automation projects, and capacity expansion efforts
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and welding certification requirements
Build a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee development

Type: Direct Hire

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Operations, or related field is preferred
5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in welding, fabrication, or metal manufacturing operations
Strong experience in an Engineered-to-Order (ETO), custom fabrication or a project-based manufacturing
Knowledge of welding processes, fabrication methods, engineering drawings, and quality standards
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly preferred
Experience with Value Stream Mapping
AWS Certified Welding Supervisor (CWS) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) will be a huge plus!
Experience with robotic welding, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives will also be a huge plus!
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
